Year 11 Mock Examinations
As we work at a pace towards the GCSE examinations in the summer, it is crucial that Y11 students are preparing for the highest possible levels of academic success. For this reason we will be having a number of mock examinations across their subjects throughout the year. The first set of major mocks begins on Monday 20th November.
Please find attached a mock examination timetable, which your son/daughter has already been issued with along with a copy of the JCQ ‘Warning to Candidates’ information.
I cannot stress how important it is that students are revising independently at home, making their own notes and practicing exam style questions. All students should have a revision timetable with a dedicated time slot for each subject.
Please support us by ensuring your child attends school on time, wearing full school uniform and with the appropriate exam equipment: pens, pencils, rubbers, calculator, angle measurer, compass, etc. When students are not in exams they will be attending normal lessons.
Do feel free to contact either, myself, Mr Hooke (Head of Year) or Mrs Duffy (Exams Manager) should you have any queries.
We will also be holding a mock results day for which more information will follow. Thank you for your ongoing support, we look forward to the success of each student on GCSE results day in August.
